What Can You say about SXSW? Well it is only one of the countries biggest Festivals and conferences, and a staple when it comes to networking in the region I currently reside in. That being said it was an amazing experience and people are really receptive to what we have to offer. So we got in a van. we being JD, Big Drew, Boy wonder, and Juniper along with myself. then we drove and drove...and drove till we arrived the next day. After setting up we went to the world famous Mings chineese resturant, honestly some of the most banging chineese ever and I'm from New York. Fei, the owner, invited me to my good friend suzzanna choffels show the next night. We went and suzznna invited me to sing some songs and then Fei played innerchild front to back. Thank you to both of you and A big thanks to eldridge who lent us his sound system for the trade show. Back at the trade show The whole team was working getting email addresses for t-shirts, pushing Cds, and Raising awarness about the Conciuos evolution Project. Thank you Juniper, Boy wonder, Big Drew, JD and Budo. Budo Met us there, and worked every party on sixth street giving records to labels and bloggers and that was dope. People are really resonating with music and programs that have a message centered in change. there is a movment happening that is moving away from the self centered artist to one that is conscious of his or her responsibility in the community. I was really impressed with how receptive everyone was to not just the Cd but what were trying to do with the CD. OK now for the Night cap of Day one. Sixth street is a Zoo!! but a great place to promote because of all the people hungry to find new music. Nuff Said. Day two is coming tommorrow so stay tuned.
